The meeting started on time: . The Toastmaster of the evening was Lena SEOL and it was her first try as Toastmaster. She did such an AWESOME job!

Word of the Day for the meeting was ‘Entity’, which means something that exists separately from other things and clear identity of its own.

BUSINESS SESSION
ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. CATRIJIN’S CORNER, Saturday, November 26, 2011(Jerry HWANG)
Area 60 and possibly Area 70 will have a Toastmasters MT Event after Catrijin’s Corner. And the admission fee will be 2000won. If anyone wants to chair the TMMT after the play, contact Jerry Kim GOMEZ and he will help to arrange everything. Plus, all members in favor of joining TMMT will get on the bus to Suncheon around 2 to take a look around and feel at ease into the city. One of the members, Fiona HAYSOM encouraged all GGTM members to join the event because there will be opportunities to meet the other club’s members like the Conference.
2. OFFICERS TRAINING(Jerry HWANG)
On December 3rd, all the newly elected Area 60 Officers will be trained. All members are welcomed. Also Area 70 will be joining us as well along with other Toastmasters in Korea
3. Go Getters Club Chartering by End of NOVEMBER(Fiona HAYSOM)
Go Getters has 4 more members to chartering and all current Go Getters members need to make it by end of the month.
4. In the next meeting, there is an election for the new Treasurer. The nominee for the position is Marie CHUNG.
MOCK MOTION
Jerry Kim GOMEZ moved that Go Getters Toastmasters club have a theme song like in professional wrestling, and it was seconded by Evelyn Go, Fiona HAYSOM, and Scarlet OH.
Motion failed by 3 Ayes to 5 Nays with 2 abstentions.TABLE TOPICS SESSION
Table Topics speakers who speak under 1 minute or over 2 minutes are not eligible for the Best Table Topics Speaker Award.
The Table Topics Master of the day Ken AHN. The theme of the session was ‘Men and Women’. And he prepared a session where he would announce the topic, and then called Toastmasters up to the stage to answer.

The General Evaluator, Jerry Kim GOMEZ said,
The meeting started on time by the Sergeant at Arms banging the Gavel.
All the members kept applauding until the speakers reach their seat.
Evaluation team in the meeting did a good job and is recommended to try to put the script away.
Saying casually and informally in the meeting and ‘Thank you’ at the end of the speech looks unprofessional. Never recommended.
