Parliamentarian Procedures in Action Workshop - Jerry Kim GOMEZ will be giving presenting the PPA Workshop for his ACG/DTM at PNUTM at the Biology Building in room 109 on Saturday, March 24, 2012.  This is a public event, so you may invite your friends and family.

The Table Topics Master of the day was Anne AHN. The theme was Sports. She prepared a session where she would announce the topic, and then call a Toastmaster up to the stage to respond.

The General Evaluator said that the meeting started on time.  She also said that the members did a great job sitting with the guests to explain to them what the meeting was about.  All around, the meeting went very well, and the suggestion for the even was to applaud and keep applauding until the person who took the stage reaches his or her seat.

1.        Induction Ceremony(Fiona HAYSOM)
As Inductees of the Toastmasters International, every GGTM member read PLEDGE OF THE INDUCTEE out aloud.

 Fiona HAYSOM and Jerry Kim GOMEZ, mentors of GGTM, read PLEDGE OF GO GETTERS TOASTMASTERS out aloud.

2.       Club Contest(Jerry HWANG)
GGTM club contest is going to be held on February 14th, 2012.
Roles for the contest need to be taken.

3.       Election for VPM
We need new VPM because our former VPM, Hong Jun LEE, ended up working in Seoul.

4.       Area Contest
Area Contest has to be completed by March 31st, 2012.

5.       Spring Conference 2012
Spring Conference 2012 is going to be held on April 28th and 29th.

The General Evaluator, Jerry HWANG said,
The meeting started on time. It was impressive that every member gave a big applause to the guests who camp up the stage. There was the best refreshment so that all people at the meeting could enjoy all sessions.
All the members of GGTM need to sit next to guests so that guests can get some information about Toastmasters. For the timer, notice the time 2 or 3 minutes before the end of the break.

1.        CHARTERING PARTY(Jerry HWANG)
To celebrate Go Getters Toastmasters chartered, CHARTERING PARTY will be held in Ashley’s on the 4th floor in SFUNZ in Hae-un-dae area. The party scheduled to start at 7: 00 pm. All of the members of Area 60 Toastmasters members are warmly welcomed to the party! Come and enjoy! 

2.       MOTION
Jerry Kim GOMEZ moved that Go Getters Toastmasters should fine for the refreshments via Lottery system. It was seconded by Andy KIM, and Fiona.

The motion passed by 8 Ayes, 1 Nay, and 1 abstention.

P.S 1. ACTION: Fiona HAYSOM creates the Lottery for the refreshments.


SUCCESSFUL CLUB SERIES
To celebrate Go Getters chartered help the members, Jerry Kim GOMEZ gave a presentation to every member in the previous meeting about How to Be a Distinguish Club. The presentation was informative and encouraging to set our goals.

The General Evaluator, Jerry Kim GOMEZ said,
The meeting started on time even though our Sergeant at Arm, Scarlet OH, who is always punctual, was absent in the meeting. He suggested a big applause for ourselves because we did everything great!

P.S. We need a headcount for two meetings on 27th December, and 3rd January, 2012 whether every Go Getters is available on the days or not.
